I specialize in identifying where things break down—and why.
By the time many families contact me, they've already tried a lot.
They've read the books. Talked with teachers and specialists. Tried rewards, consequences, schedules, therapies and accommodations.
And they're still stuck.
I don't start with a program or try to fit a person into a methodology.
I get to know the individual, look for the underlying patterns, and adapt the approach until we find something that works.
Is it communication? Motivation? Anxiety? Sensory overload? Executive functioning?
A demand that's triggering resistance? A mismatch between what's being asked and what the person is currently capable of doing?
Sometimes the problem isn't that you haven't tried hard enough.
Sometimes you need to understand the problem differently.
