My approach is motivation-based, intuitive, pragmatic and playful.

I draw from a variety of intervention programs and techniques but I'm not limited to using one particular program  (Pivotal Response Treatment, DIR/Floortime, Applied Behavior Analysis, Functional Communication, Sensory Integration, Executive Function Training,  and more).

 

I've created and developed many of my own coaching techniques since starting my career in 1995.

I view my work as a craft which is constantly being honed and adapted to fit each client's needs.

I'm a combination of coach, advocate, interpreter, entertainer and sometimes a voice-activated Muppet.

 

I can coach you, your family and your child's teachers, specialists and caregivers on my strategies and techniques. I'll give you practical, easy to use information about your child. I understand that the people who spend the most time with your child have the greatest impact and they are rarely going to have the specialized education and training to understand the intricate ins and outs and specialized jargon. I can create a comprehensive "How To Understand My Child" manual for you to share with others.
